- In a nonstick pan add oil for tempering and heat it. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, cinnamon stick and bay leaf to the oil. Roughly crush onions, green chillies, garlic and ginger in a mixture jar and add to the pan after mustard seeds crackles.
- Cook for some time till the gravy starts leaving oil. Now add the pureed tomatoes and mix well. Cook till the gravy looks shiny.
- Now add all the dry spices and 1 cup water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Now add the crushed soya chunks and little water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
