- Wash and soak basmati rice for 1 hour. Bring water to a boil add salt, oil, bay leaf, cardamon, cinnamon, cloves. Boil until rice is almost cooked and then keep aside.


- Cut onions and fry until caramelised and golden brown. Stir constantly when it starts browning so to prevent burning.

- Heat a pan add oil, onions ginger garlic and attarugu. Fry and add spices then minced meat cook for 5 minutes then add tomatoes and green chilli.yourghurt and water. Add seasoning cube cover and allow to cook until tomatoes are mushy, the water has dried up and oil has separated.



- To assemble the biryani,heat up large pot under very low heat. Add some of the meat gravy, pour rice on top then sprinkle caramelised onion and parsley or coriander then the gravy and rice. Continue in this order until its finished. Then in a small bowl dissolve tumeric in water and and sprinkle on rice cover pot and steam until its all dried up. Like 10 to 15 minutes.
